Day 90 - A Little Late

Well the challenge is over and I finished with a 12 lb weight loss and several inches lost. Life continues to be a challenge with too many things on my plate. The seminar with Jack Canfield was very eye opening ad I have realized many changes that I have to make in my life. Many of which have to do with cleaning up old projects. Day 74 - Life Is So Complex

I can't believe it's been almost 20 days since I posted a blog. I have been very faithful to the diet and I'm holding my own in the weight category. Our week of "active rest" was much needed; however, it came the week before I left for a week of scuba diving and therefore, I have now had two weeks without Dax's exercises. Obviously, scuba diving is somewhat physical, but not to "bulding muscle" like our exercises. I did have some trouble staying 100% ED friendly at our location in Roatan, Hondur… Continue

Day 56 - I lost 2.6 lbs this week!!!!!

Finally I'm seeing weight loss again. I lost 2.6 lbs this week for a total of 10.8 lbs. I didn't lose any more inches--which I find very odd? I've lost a total of 6 inches, 3 from my waist.

B: eggs and yogurt

L: Panera bread salad with chicken added

Lot of water!!!!!!

I was successful with my shopping venture. I found some cute work out clothes and a few tops. I of course purchased things for the guys too --shirts mostly.

Day 55

It's Thursday night and the end of my work week. I'm taking the day off tomorrow!!!! :) I'm going shopping. It's time for the "reward" that Dax suggested last week or earlier this week. I'll see what I find that looks good. Buying some new clothes for vacation would be nice.

Tomorrow is the day for weights and measures for week #8. The weight should be down. I am hopeful that measures will be as well.

Day 51 Diet
B: Smoothie
L: 1/2 brat, 3 bean salad
S: Nuts
D: Salmon and Salad

Day 52
B: Eggs
S: nuts
L: Hamburger
S: Yogurt
D: 3 bean salad

And of course, lots and lots of water.

Today was a typical "Manic Mondy" (someone should write a song with that title). I made it through the day in time to get to the 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Zumba and Strength and Tone class - which was my exercise for the day. That is a lot like my husband. He surfs and golfs and eats what I fix...but he also has a few sweets...my mom makes him cookies using splenda. He also has his cocktail or two. I have really stayed away from alcohol....as I do love a beer or two...but that is the fastest way to pack on pounds.... Good to know all is well.

Just thought I would check in on you. I have not seen any blogs or comments...It's Ok to continue to blog... I check in here off and on and I will help you stay strong....I think a daily log is helpful...but only if you feel like it.

Thanks Karen. Good luck for the rest of the challenge and keep up the good work. I will hopefully still be checking in if dax allows us to. I want to know how people are gettingn on and give my support, plus it will be good for me :-) It's going to be very tempting to go back to my old ways and I must stop myself!

I suspect we can check in unless Dax cancels our access. Remember it's not the pounds it's the inches.... Also even if you do not get both in try to do at least one set....Obviously 2 a day will get you greater results faster... Something is still better than nothing....

We have not heard from you since your last day at the beach... Hope you drive home was uneventful...How are you doing with your challenge? 4th of july will certainly be a challenge as I love the food....take care and check in with us.
