Hello out there in LookGreatNaked world! Just wanted to take a minute or two to say "Hey!" I just turned 40 last week, and I am on a mission to be completely transformed by the time I am 41! I initially wanted to do that by the time I was 40. However, I was tripped up by my thyroid and adrenal glands and have spent the last year trying to rest and regain my stamina so I can move forward. The thyroid issue is under control I believe - thanks be to Armour Thyroid! : ) The adrenals, however are slo…

my husband has narcolepsy, plus all his glands are pretty messed up. Took decades to get the narcolepsy diagnosed (before I met him...), and with medication he is okay. But he also was always tired, no fun when we had the baby and he just always slept! My chiropracter, who is from Taiwan, finally did some tests on him, adrenals, testosterone, thyroids etc. all pretty messed up. He is now on Testosterone shots, plus a bunch of supplements (from CoQ10 to Travacor) and that really helped with the fatigue and the constant joint inflammation. But it still is a constant struggle. I am glad that I am very healthy, but I really understand what it takes to battle something that no one seems to be able to treat or diagnose. I am glad you got the help you needed. I will check out the armour thyroid, that might be something he is missing out on right now!
Yes, we all need "butt-kickers", I certainly do, I was just eying a bag of animal crackers and almost broke down... I am waiting for more recipes from Dax, I tried the diet a few months back but felt like I had to starve because I was trying to be too strict I think. I was glad when he mentioned corn tortillas this morning etc, so I think there is more food out there we can have then I think! What is your favorite food to eat on this plan? I eat a ton of almonds, salads, plain yoghurts, and eggs....
How do you like the power circuit?
Talk to you soon!
how are you holding up so far? I just read about all your health challenges, wow, that is quite the list! How long did it take you to get diagnosed? My husband has some of the same issues, so I know how debilitating that can be. I hope you are doing well with diet and exercise and start feeling a little better. Getting older really stinks, but I now take that as a challenge to be better with 44 then then when I was 20 :-)
I see that you also got a message from that Rosabella gal - we should report that to the administrators...!
Hang in there and have a great Memorial day!
