What Is Your Primary Reason For Entering The Challenge?
I guess my main reason for joining is to get really fit again. I have been running for years, but over the last 5 months or so my fitness has dropped and now I'm ready to get back into things again and need a boost. I'm also getting married in September, so this is a great way to tone up and lose a few pounds and get in shape for that. I would also love to get the strength and fitness back that I had 10 years ago. It's time to try and change my every increasing bad ways before the pounds start pilling on!
About Me:
I'm 29, almost 30, and as I said above, am getting married in September. I work as a proofreader for a marketing agency, which involves long hours at times and very stressful days. It's a real struggle to try and fit exercise in. I tend to not eat that well these days, due to a lack of time and my cravings for 'rubbish' food when I am stressed. I also find it hard to fit exercise in. I feel like it's a good time to try and get everything into balance.

My overall results finally! Just a little late!

Well I was busy on Sunday as I went to watch my Goddaughter do a dance show/competition so I never got around to posting my final results. Depsite not doing the full amount of exercise and a little naughtiness on the diet I had a very good last week losing a total of 7.5 cm. I was very pleased. I also lost 3 lbs and got to within 0.4 of my goal. My body fat was also down to its lowest :-) Thinking about my goal nearly all the time must have helped.

Day 88

Day 88 wasn't bad. I did my power circuit in the morning, although I didn't do the 4th and 5th exercise as my ankle and back of my other knee were sore and i didn't want to risk anything. In the evening I did 4 of the circuits. I knew I should have been doing 6, but I was tired and it was late. It seems like my body has been telling me to slow down this week, just at the point where I needed to pick things up. Day 87

Yesterday was a good day though I ate a lot of carbs. One I was hungry and two I knew I had my race in the evening so didn't want to skimp! Exercise was bad though. I didn't actually do any of the workouts:-) In the morning I got up late and I wanted to save my legs anyway for later on. The races went well and i was pleased with my times, especially as I had trained the day before. The last few days and week 12 results

Friday was a good day. I did both sets of exercise and in the evening I managed a 9.5 mile run. I wanted to see what kind of shape I was in. I was pleased as I felt I could continue, but my calf was killing me plus I had stuff to do. Food wise the day was very good too though I admit to a bit of cake at work.

Days 80 and 81

Well the last couple of days weren't that good either, but I think I did the best I could under the circumstances. My food wasn't too bad. I think on the whole I was strict, but last night I went out for a meal and ordered sweet and sour as it doesn't normally come in batter in Thai places. Well I was wrong. It did in this place! First of all Congratulation I wish great happiness.

Dax sent out an email to join him for 30 days to go back and do elimination diet together we are in week two. He has a blog spot. He has not released his program that he talked about with us, but I think it is still on the table.

The magic 100 is good, but like all things DAX you need to be ready to commit. I have found it to be quite enlightning and as you two are just starting out you might find it helpful as you prepare for your future together. Again he has a blog place and a similar site as the LGNC but people do not use it like we did our site. I am of the opinion that we were a unique group of 5 or 6 of us that continued to communicate.... I think it played to our success.

I have dropped another 4 pounds and targeting 30 by my B day Dec 5th. It's tough this time around. Still traveling and trying to stay out of trouble. Thanks for getting back in touch...

I was thinking about you and wanted to know if you are married yet? I am not sure what day you had planned for your wedding. Check in and let me know if it was everything you wanted.

I am doing Dax's magic 100 and his 30 day challenge. So far all is great with me. I have not put on any weight since we ended our program so that is a good thing. I am ready to tackle the next 20 pounds...looking forward to hearing from you.

If your scales are like mine, they calculate your % body water by sending a slight signal through your body from one foot to the other and then it calculates your % body fat from that number. typically when you see one go up the other will go down.

Sarah, scuba diving is great fun. I'm sure you will enjoy it. It was a little scary at first, but once you are down there exploring, it's great!!!
