90 Days To A New You!

Another week has passed since the end of my challenge. I am traveling extensively. This past week had me flying to Nashville, TN, which included a 3 hr layover in Denver, then once I arrived in TN, I had a 2 hour drive to a small town in Kentucy and I lost 2 hours due to time change.

The food was a bit more difficult as it is in any small town. Not too many options especially when it's 8 pm and you are really hungry. I ended up in a fast food restaurant and what a mistake that was. It tasted great going down, but about two hours later......not so much.

The next evening I tried eating a piece of cake and a few bites was OK but again....did not settle well. The moral of this story, is I have indeed changed my eating habits....I am still off of caffeine, alcohol, and sugar for the most part. I find if I somehow eat something that has sugar and I am not aware, I end up with a horrific headache. I am a bit less stringent about salad dressings.... I do try and eat shrimp coctail when available. It's filling and ED friendly.

In spite of all this I have not gained any weight so I am very happy about that. I am just about mentally ready to go back to a specfic day and begin workouts again with the goals set for 10 pound increments....If with all the traveling that I have in store for the next couple of months, I can lose 10 pounds a month.. I will consider my efforts a success.

this next week has me flying to Chicago, IL on Monday and flying home early Friday morning....I will be home for the weekend and then turnaround and do the same thing on the next Monday.

Breakfast and dinner are not a problem, snacks and lunch is a challenge...but I will figure it out, I usually do. I have even traveled with a jar of Peanut Butter and am able to buy some celery at a grocery store, This allows me to make some snacks that will fit into a zip lock bag and I can stave off hunger.

Until next week, eat well, excercise and think about how great you are going to look.

I hope you all have a terrific and successful week.

Congratulations on doing so well with all the traveling you do. No weight gain!!! That is a terrific accomplishment. Keep up the good work.

Hi Margot, I'm glad to see that you are still sticking to the plan - well done! I haven't had any problems going back to a diet of caffeine, alcohol and sugar (actually it would probably be better if I did have problems with them!). I keep meaning to go back to the exercises, but haven't got back into them yet...to be honest, I'm just enjoying relaxing after the last couple of weeks of the challenge (I haven't even looked at the scales!).
